have been told by garage the ticking noise on my cold engine which last for a minute is due to piston slap and not a problem they say it is common on a lot of of cars, my argment is the noise wasn't there when i bought the car if it would have been i wouldn't have paid 5k for the car Has anyone got any advise on this please as i am quite concerned, the car has only done 17000 miles and has a full service history
