Xr3I Intake?

Featured Replies

Hello all, as per my Introduction thread a family member has just bought an XR3i

It has got the turbo kit, recaro seats, both the OE and a vented bonnet the usual stuff

But i was told the 1990 XR3 would have a inlet like this

(Picture from google)

But it has something a bit different, it has the EFI manifold with a Y-shape black pipe over the rocker cover and the airbox is on the drivers side of the car. Is this the normal one for the car or has it been adapted

it looks like the RS turbo inlet manifold but where the turbo has a pipe over the rocker cover to the right hand side this one goes to the left and is different in shape
