Denso Sat Nav Problem!!!

any one able to help i reset my touch screen sat nav and now it fickers on and off for roughly two mins before starting up and playing any kind of audio i unplugged it from the battery as this is how to reset it i got told now this annoying problem could any one give me a wee bit of advice??
