Ecu For A Puma

hi , im new to this site, i need an ecu for my 1.7 puma, the garage have had the car for 8 weeks and basically not coimg up with anything, ford want 1300 quid for a new one, garage said ut will be 300 quid for a reconditioned one, seen them on ebay but not really sure what im looking for ! any suggestions will be great , thanks

    Hi Jules , there will be a code on the ECU which you need to source a replacement which needs to be the same as your removing , you have not said what the problems your having are , and why the garage say it needs a new ECU
