Sierra 1.8 cvh

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a Ford Sierra 1.8 CVH and I'm having a bit of hassle. I broke my rotor arm shaft and can't get a new 1 from Ford as they no longer supply the part. If anybody has 1 lying around or know of where I can get 1, I would really appreiciate it. I have just spent 2 months rebuilding the engine after the cam belt went and a freind of mine accidently broke it. I can't beleive 1 peice of plastic would be so much trouble. I did consider an engine swap, but to be honest I like the car the way it is, original! If anyone can help please please let me know, I would not enjoy having to take it to the scrap yard because of 1 little plastic holder. Thanks. :(

try the scrapyard for a dizzy you can strip for the part you require.

if you do fine a sierra in a scrappy see if its got a decent rear bumper and nice it for me plz

Yellow Pages mate. Car Breakers, off the shelf parts etc. you will probably have to buy the whole dizzy, but it's still better than swapping the engine. If you can get an engine swap surely you can get the part. If you get so desperate that you're considering making one out of old bits of leggo and a cigarette lighter then give this guy a call : Charlie Macs, Shop - (0151) 207 2251 / Dismantling - (0151) 933 1028. Nowhere near N/hampton but he knows his parts, fords and other parts people. Good hunting ;)

Hi Taxi17,

I read you request for help when I registered this morning. I will be able to provide you with the part you need. I have a FOrd sierra 1.8 CVH car in my garage good and running. However I am negotiating a better one so I can use my current Sierra a as spare parts provider. The sierra CVH is a great car for me. If you are still in need of thet part let me know and we would be able to coordinate a solution to your problem.

My email: [email protected]

Cheers
