Mk 1 Focus Central Locking Problem

Featured Replies

Hi there,

my car has developed a fault with the central locking, if i try to lock the door with the fob or with the key in the door they lock then unlock straight away. the only way to lock the car is to push the lock in on the front passanger door. there is also no noise coming from the door when i try to lock. i have changed fuse 63 on the back of the fuseboard and nothing happened, ive taken the door panel off but to be honest i dont know what im looking at!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Once you can see the central locking module, make a note of the serial number on it and search eBay for a matching unit if you choose to replace your old one.
