Hi all,

hoping someone can guide me in the right direction, when i am driving and i press the brakes the boot lock opens it only does this when the engine is running.any suggestions will be helpful.

    I'd suspect a couple of broken wires in the connections between the car and the hatch.

    The insulation can get brittle and cause the wires inside to break and then if condensation gets inside the tube shorts will occur.

    You'll want to sort it out reasonably quickly before you burn out the boot lock solenoid.
