hi everyone just joined n thought id tell ya a bit about my ford!! well ive just purchased a white 3door bare shell, which in time will be transformed into a cosworth track car. but in the mean time i'm tryin 2 shed some lite on how this lil old 3 door started life... on purchase i was told it was a 1600l and as there was no log book i took that as true. on further investorgation whilst preparin the shell i found there was factory fitted fuel pump mounts on the spare wheel well,which with my ford knolledge tells me there was a fuel injected motor fitted???? further to this when applyin for the log book the car is reg as a 2 litre with DVLA which turns out ta be ideal as i'm to fit a YB motor in it, however the build date is dec 1983 and ive not heard of any 20i 3 doors produced can anyone help me identify wot spec this car started off as ???? will post pics as the project advances cheers :P
