wase16ll
look for a product calld quicksteel [or qwiksteel or something along those lines] its a putty that comes in a tube, just cut a section off, mould it together, then use to bond the bracket back together

wase16ll
allways carry a tube in the van, impressive stuff. once did a temp repair with it on an alternator, one of the mounting bolt holes had snapped clean off...used this to bond it back together to get him home owner decided he didnt want to spend the money on a replacement at the time....fair enough, cant force the fellah.... two years later, he called me to say he'd better get it replaced, which i did, but that temp repair had lasted 26k miles and looked like id only done it yesterday.
