My Fiesta has run 10.000 km by now, and i can't drive it in normal traffic and use les than 6 litres per 100 km. Can anyone do better? Should I complain?

    Davos is Danish. he does not do mpg.

    I think thats 47mpg. What diesel car magazine says thay are getting 53mpg on their fleet car and it mainly town driving.

    Getting 52mpg on my 1.6 titanium after 3700 miles very pleased as this is mainly town driving.

    we're getting 42mpg on ours. But we've only done 300'ish miles so far. So does mpg get better with the more mileage you do??

    We do a lot of short and speedy journeys, which probably eats more fuel eh.

    I'm a woman so I don't know very much about this.. :D

    6 litres are 1.32 gallons

    100 km is 62 miles

    A quick calculation gives me 2,13 :blink: gallons per 100 miles

    On my 1.4 petrol I average 37 if I caine it, 42/44 'normal' and I can get 48/50 if I drive very well. Best Ive managed was 52.9MPG on a 28mile journey.

    I seem to have stuck at 39 mpg no matter what I do but, in fairness, this is with climate control on all the time.

    The figure above is for short journeys--I'm sure that I'll get more on a run. :)
