Good afternoon all,

Just thought i'd say hi as I've just joined today. I've has my 2004 Fiesta 1.4 Flame for 5 months now. All was well until the water pump failed last week :( The car is not even 5 years old and only got 33,000 miles on the clock so I was bit shocked that it had failed so soon.

I'm after a bit of advice as to whether this is a common problem with this engine? The mechanic at the Ford Dealer that did the work suggested this was the case, so I would be interested to know whether anybody has had similar issues.

Any comments will be most welcome.
