Ford Ka2 1998

Featured Replies

hi there i have a ford ka2 1998, for the last few days it has been tapping like mad and has a slight missfire, so it only seems to be running on 3 cylinders. no pwer there and also need to ride the clutch or wont hardly move. so i took it to a garage and he tightned the tappets. then it was perfect. next day a loud clicking noise was coming from the engine so i took it back and he said you need a new engine  so i took it for 2nd opinion. and they said it was the rocker shaft, means nothing to me so im just looking for some advice really if this sounds about right ? i think he said on the adjustables one of them is on its limit so the push rod is not reaching its destination or vise versa

please help lol

thanks dale
