Ford Fusion Radio Problem Rds 4500 Eon

Featured Replies

Can anyone shed some light on the problem with my radio

when i push the power switch to turn radio on-i get about 10-15 seconds of a ticking noise coming from radio or dashboard its hard to tell

also when i turn it off it starts ticking again

this happens with or without ignition on

It sounds like your CD player scan head is on it's way out or misaligned.

Usually the clicking is the worm drive screw that moves the scan head over-running due to misalignment or a faulty position sensor.
