My 2012 Mondeo has factory fit sat nav. When purchased the speed limit function was in MPH and the map scale was on auto. The speed limit has changed to metric and map scale to 50 meters. Both of these are useless. At 67 I refuse to start thinking in euro language. The user guide is useless so I have booked into a main dealer to rectify. If any member can offer advice it could save dealer cost as this is probably not covered by warranty.

    I would be shocked if they tried to charge you to change a few settings. Unfortunately I do not have the model and so cant tell you definitely how to do it, but have you gone browsing the settings?
