Granada axle! what year?

:) Hello all.

I'm new on here & hope some one can help please? Long story sorry. :huh:

:unsure: What it is, is I bought a second hand Granada 2.5 diesel rear axle! I wanted it for a trike I was building, It has discs & was a IRS if this helps? I knocked all the diff houseing off so no numbers there!

Anyway the wheel bearings went last week but because I didn't know the year no one could help!!

I got a old one out & the code is Y-32008 XZ.

So I go & buy 4 new bearings & put the outer ring in, but the inner bearing it self is 40mm & the wheel carrier shaft is 41mm!!!

So can any one help?

If you can that would be great!

    take your bearing or part number off it and go to a bearing supplies outlet. should find one near to you in yellow pages. could try googling it see what you get?

    Cheers Steve, I got a bearing no' off the old ones & got new.

    When I put them back, the shaft wouldn't go through the bearings!!!

    When measured, the inner bearing, old one 41mm & the new bearings are 40mm !!

    Anyway I got the shaft turned down to 40mm. So no problems in the future, I hope!
