Hi guys and girls, I recently purchased a mint mk4 escort ghia 1.6 carb with only 25000 miles from new, and the only problem with the car is that the rev counter has started to only display half the revs of the engine and it won't go above three thou rpm. I was advised to replace the ignition module and the coil but still no joy, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, regards Ian
