just change the oil and filter on my 2.0 mondeo 59 TDCI. Used 5w/30 part sym but should I have used full sym .. Will it make a difference .

    It should be ok, semi - synthetic is cheaper than fully-synthetic but does not last as long so requires changing sooner next time

    There is even a school of thought that because "cheaper" oil has to be changed more frequently, it helps to keep the engine cleaner because contaminants in the oil are removed when an oil change takes place
