best make this my first post , just bought a mondeo 2.0 tdci ghia diesel , some minor problems , but overall very happy with it. Always been a ford man, my first car was an escort eclipse

1.3 and i loved it, learnt alot about cars messing with this one and it ran perfectly for over 8 years, then 2 focus cars and now the mondeo . I do like to do my own maintenance on my cars , there was a period of time where i stopped, and started to take them to garages, biggest mistake ever!, some never stop trying to rip you off.

hopefully i will be able to help some people out on these forums, and they help me.

hi , thanks , im impressed with the car , really nice and everything works ! , whats your advice on replacing the intercooler hose pipes , one has a split on it (temporary repair) , i wouldn't

mine putting a better after market replacement on, what size diameter hose would i need , any recommendations or advice mate ,

if your hose is split change it pronto,, try samco website they might list mondeo, if not send them an email and tell them what you want,i don't know hose size's offhand mate.. oh, and try demon tweeks site i think they do all samco stuff.. is your mondeo 115 or 130hp? i've just remapped a mates 115 upped to 145hp now, he loves it now!! :)

hi steve , i went to ford and got a new hose , my wife won't let me start on the modding again, one small thing and i don't stop, i modded my escort alot and have spent alot on cars down the years , and money spent on rip off garages , i could tell you some right horror stories we have been through mate. i think the car is 130 hp with it being a ghia x but im not sure yet. ive always looked after my cars and this one is the best ive had by far, i had a look at your website and i must say , it looks pretty impressive , if i can twist the wifes arm i would'nt mind popping in so you could tweak the car a little bit, and thanks for taking the time to reply, cheers.

no prob mate and thanks for comments on site, if your engine cover doesn't have a sticker on telling you bhp, stand at drivers side of engine and look where the head meets the block and it will have a sticker there stating what power it is.. :)

hi, mate , had a quick look it says duratorque cd 130 ps , so i presume its 130bhp , is it ? i love driving it , !Removed! fast , didn't expect that from a diesel , car tax shocked me , £145 for 12 months, alot cheaper than the focus i had , and cruise control never had it before , im in !Removed! heaven !
