Hi guys, looking to fit speakers in the rear doors of my 55 Focus Ghia. the holes are already in the door card and I was wanting to know how easy it is to fit speakers. Also, what speakers would you suggest and finally, will it work with the standard head unit fitted (non Sony)

Hi Rob,

Your best option is to purchase a Haynes manual for your motor,

This will tell you the colours of the cables inside the door loom for you to splice the new speakers in to,

The stereo will support the speakers even though its not a Sony,

And if you search eBay you will find some direct replacement kits from shops such as dynamic sound,

They supply the model specific speaker brackets along with various brands of speaker for a direct fit upgrade.
