hi can you just wire the tow bar in to rear lights or is this a new type of wiring they use on the mk 2.5 thanks

I guess you probably could , but O/S in the boot behind the panel i believe is the harness.

Don't forget about the wiring PDF i put up , it will help guide you

Yes they are , but your not fitting LED's in there are you , you will just be parrallel wiring to them.

Yes the ELM will enable you to add some extras , its very good

I tapped mine just before the plugs for the lights. I tried the big ol' plug behind the carpet but couldn't be 100% sure what was what.

If I have chance tomorrow, I'll try put up some pics.

I did go for a bypass relay. However, my LED light board doesn't draw enough current to trigger the indicator buzzer :D
