Strange Fluid Leak

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Whilst at work yesterday, I was told that my car had some odd fluid leaking out of it,
After work I had a nosey and saw this...

This looks like it is on the side of the oil sump (Not a mechanic, not too sure!)
And one of the pics shows it could be coming from the oil filter (again, I think thats what it is!)
Kinda looks like bird s**t =]
Anyone have any ideas? I have done about 60 miles with this so far, and the engine still seems to work fine and oil levels seem ok,

Cheers

Dodge

is this a fresh leak? the colour of it looks like it could be old coolant, so I would start by checking all the pipes and make sure theres no examples of damage to the pipes?
