Looking for a decent Ford diagnostic cable and software for my laptop, what is the best for general ford diagnostics that allows for recoding when changing parts etc?
Want it for my laptop.

    Yes, the newer Fords have the same protocols and they all use the same OBD11 plug/ socket

    The drivers for the computer and operating system are more liable to be a problem, F-supers were only (previously) usually supplied with Windows XP drivers and you have to check that you buy one with windows 7 / 8 drivers - some users have reported difficulty with Windows 7 or 8 (drivers are supplied with the software or can be uploaded)

    or just use a laptop that runs XP
