Bulbs On Dash And Steering Wheel.

Hi all,

I have just bought a mk3 zetec s tdci and the bulbs on the dash are really dimm and on the steering wheel there's none at all.

Can anyone tell me how to go about changing them or will it just be a fuse?

    are the dash lights turned up to their full brightness on the adjuster? if they are does it look like any of the bulbs are not working leaving dark areas in the dash? the steering wheel has no lights in it at all, you will see small bumps on the controlls,its time to learn braille :)

    Most of them are dimmable, but not all have the dimmer dial on the light switch.

    Mine just had the headlight raise and lower, but when I fitted front fogs, I had to get a replacament unit and that included the dimmer dial too.

    If you get a light switch unit with the dimmer its plug and play.

    Mine is a 53 plate 2.0 TDCI Zetec s and doesn't have the dimmer it just has the light control switch and the adjustment.

    I have orderd some more bulbs.

    Can any tell me if there is a how to on fitting them please?
