Water Leak

Hello,i have a 04 st170,79000 mls,it has a water leak from the thermostat housing,its from some sort of bleed nipple and only happens when car started from cold,any ideas?

    is it embedded in the thermostat itself? if so you should be able to replace the thermostat in full to resolve the issue.

    sounds like you need to replace the housing then, its not too uncommon...

    As they are plastic the housings tend to go out of shape after 7 or 8 years and start to leak. Its worth changing the whole thing anyway.
