Focus Zetec S - Exhaust Potential

Featured Replies

Hiya guys,

Ford never did pick up on the potential here, and left the rear of the Ford Focus Zetec S rather bland in comparison to what they could of done, and what others have done for themselves. I am of course talking about the potential for an ST or RS style exhaust system to fit nicely snug with the Zetec S diffuser:

I have been looking around for some options to give me an ST style exhaust setup, but it would look like I would have to buy an expensive custom kit. Also the option of an actual ST exhaust is out of the question due to the presence of a spare wheel. I am wondering what people have had made up for their Zetec S', at what cost, and if they have any pictures they could include that would be great. I am not wanting to spend the earth and in an ideal world I could do with some form of "exhaust tip" being made up, but again I don't know where to start or how to go about this.

Any advice, or examples guys? :)

My old ZS had a power flow exhaust tip fitted at around £150

If you go to PowerFlows website there is a link to the local garages that supply and fit there products.

I am going for a twin letterbox cat back system but have decided to wait until my old one has rotted in at least one part before I do that as I don't see the point in ditching a perfectly good exhaust. There are a couple of custom exhaust fabricators by me in the west midlands I will be looking at.

rhino, look at my car - basically consists of a connection in the middle that tees off to 2 single exit trims.

i have a set of Milltek exhaust trims in black that need painting that are up for grabs!pm me if your interested

fundly enough thats prob where I will be going to get my exhaust done.

I'll probably try and find the tips on eBay, then find someone local to chuck it together. They are a bit too far to go for me really :(

If you find the tips and buy a few on ebay, will a local exhaust place put something together?

My brother did that with his Jag, I'll have to ask him where he went. Depends how cheap the tips are I guess, as they will most likely have something if not.

This is the kind of thing I meant ed12, get hold of the tips and try finding somewhere to weld the pipes together etc?

Yeah, I need to get my Zetec S diffuser sorted on a facelift bumper first, then I will look into it properly :)
