Rusty front hubs

Featured Replies

I am just noting down the things I want the dealer to look at tomorrow. One of the things that is on the list is shown in the photo below. This being the amount of rust on the front wheel hubs. Is this normal?

Seems so ..mine is the same and so is my neighbours

Yep, completely normal. Just think how much it would add to the cost of the car if they powder coated or painted parts like this. Nothing to worry about, it's just surface rust and it will not fall apart.

It's also partly down to the fact, there's a lot of heat generated 'down there' with the brakes'
