I ordered my new fiesta - zetec s, sports pack, interior pack 1. Ford dealer has told me the interior pack is not available yet.

Has anybody ordered this pack and been told the same thing or have they had it fitted?

Also what does the gear stick look like in this pack?

not got a photo but its somewhere else in this forum (think, interior pack 1/2) thread!!

It is now available. Was as of the start of last month. I ordered my car 6th March where by adding the Interior pack 1 to my order at the dealer made my car status as "confirmed" as opposed to "unconfirmed" as it was some weeks before. Then about 2 weeks later (aprox 2/3 weeks ago) the packs came available on ford's website.

Hope it helps, Interior pack 1 was £150 and 2 £250 when i placed my order.

Interior pack's..... they were options on my titanium, but only recently available.

Ordered mine on 4th April, Ford dealer has put the order in and told me the interior pack wasn't available untill the end of the month (April). If it was build before that date, he would get the interior pack and fit it at the garage.

This is from the ford website..

Interior Pack 1- includes Stainless steel scuff plates with logo, unique gearshift knob, unique handbrake cover, and front & rear velour mats (standard on Titanium).

Interior Pack 2 - Includes Stainless steel scuff plates with illuminated logo, unique illuminated gearshift knob, unique handbrake cover, and front & rear velour mats (standard on Titanium).

So says to me that interior pack 1 is non illuminated and pack 2 is the illuminated pack

Yes. They only offer a choice of 5 colours in the Zetec s. It was going to be either red or white, didn't fancy the gray or black.

Since ordering i've seen a few Vision blues that look quiet nice. Happy with the white, wont be saying that when it needs cleaning.

Oh really? When I ordered mine I already knew that I wanted Panther Black or Sea Grey so I didnt ask what colours were available, I think the white ones look smart but Its just not me! :) Michelles on here who has had the mountune upgrade looks really good with the appearance pack.

I've just looked at that colour---didn't even see that in the brochure although it must have been there.

The car was an impulse buy! I went looking for something else and saw that in black and fell in love. Was shocked when they approved me and so didnt think about any additions or anything else. The colours are totally different to what they look like in real life so "common black" will be fine The magenta was my first fave along with the squeeze. The pack's were only very recently available at that time. No, I've got the non-illumination pack (Pack 1). The illumination stuff comes with pack 2.

Mine has not been build yet, waiting allocation for a date, they only allocated a date when you get to a certain point in the que so they can estimate the build date as best to 100% as possible.

The magenta was my first fave along with the squeeze. Magenta being the right colour to match my lipstick! So girly

No what I meant (I think) trying to match my lipstick to the colour of the car. Its a girly thing to do. Plus when I do get my car, and people will be watching me cruising around in my super new wheels, I had better look good every journey I make. I will now no longer be able to just chuck on my jacket over my pj's to pop up the road. It warrants full make up, dressed up hotness to match the hot car!

If i bought the titanium i would have gone for the Hot Magenta. my girlfriend said it would be too girly. Anyway i still like the colour

I tried to order the Interior pack 2 but my dealer didn’t know what I was talking about! So I tried ordering it separately. They could not get the handbrake cover but they did get the scratch plates, gear knob and mats. They cost me £300 with fitting. I am really happy with them! I have had my car for three weeks now and I have also fitted some cool blue neons to the foot well because the Zetec S does not come with ambient lighting.

Yeah,The S comes with a few things less than the standard Zetec , quickclear windscreen is another thing missing. A choice of only 5 colours is poor. I would have liked the ambient lighting as well. and the city pack as standard. I suppose that why people have gone for the Titanium.

if the S doesnt come with ambient lighting are the connectors still there?? you are talking about footwell lights yea?

Yes the footwell lights. The connectors might still be there. On my Mk6 the connectors are there behind the dash for the MP3 jack plug.

ahh right, my focus st didnt come with footwell lights so i had to buy bulbs and install them, the connectors were there just needed the bulbs plugging in, maybe this is the case with the fiesta.
