Fiesta Mk6 Service

Featured Replies

My Mk6 Fiesta is due for a service on the 15th May

Does anyone have an idea on how much i should be paying as i dont want to get ripped off.

Cheers

Just a normal standard service? Where are you planning on taking it for service? how old is the car?

My Mk6 Fiesta will be 1 year old and due it's first service too, at the end of July.

There is a Rapid Fit near where I work (Livingston) and was thinking of using them.

Are they any good and how much do they charge?

First service? Take it to Ford for sure. The extra you pay will ensure you get a good job, official ford parts, wont affect your warranty, and you get official stamp in the book.

Got the 3rd year (major) service done on the wife's fiesta the other week, had it done by a Ford specialist here in slough, cost £160 all in and everything was changed including pollen filter and they only use genuine Ford parts, so no problems with warranty issues.

Cheers Pete

I paid £56 for a normal service before mine had an mot the same day.

Btw Stuart, i had mine done at Arnold Clark in Grangemouth and i thought they were quite good to be honest. I stay in Livi myself but took the car back to them seeing as i bought it there and going back in a month for another mot/service again :)

Ford parts and service manual stamped.

It is only 1 year old so i am going to be taking it to Evans Halshaw Ford. Just wanted to get a rough idea on how much its going to cost. Hopefully everything will be fine with it..

Your service book will dictate what servicing is needed at the 1 year interval, if there is something wrong then it will probably be covered by the warranty, so its better they pick up on problems before the warranty runs out, doubt you will have any trouble with a 1 year old car though. Best of luck at the service!
