Looking at a Sony 6cd stereo for my focus which was taken out of the same year focus as mine. The guy said he ain't got the cd changer so debating whether to buy it. I want a mp3 player in my car so thought this was a good idea to get and it's in my budget.

What is your question? For MP3 you don't need the changer (in fact, the MP3 capability came later with the changer, I don't remember what year though ..).

Just wanted really to know sorry if the changer came with it or does the unit itself hold the cds. The guy wants £90 for it so I guess that was a ok price. Need really a mp3 player because it's hassle only being able to put one disc in at a time. Can prob sell mine on then so won't really cost me then getting it?

The Sony 6CD has the changer integrated (hence the name and the LOAD button on the fascia).

What leads do I need to connect my phone also to it because I aint got a clue lol.

Doesn't look like the 6CD one. The 2nd picture with the label would be interesting (in decent resolution so one can read it).

That radio is a single disc MP3 model.

Each cd can hold about 8 albums in decent MP3 format so tbh a 6 disc one isn't reallly necessary.

Very true.

The changer mechanism in a 6 disc can jump and jam up.

Like I said it's out of a same 58 plate focus as mine. £90 it's going for so does that sound ok u think. Got a standard stereo in mine so be happier with a mp3 player and looks nice.

Same as you do now - as the phone connectivity is in an extra module and not in the radio. If you have Bluetooth now, you'll still have it with the new radio, if you don't, you won't.

If you have a 'Voice' button on your radio controls on the steering column then you should have the bluetooth module already installed.

If not then the kit/wiring isn't cheap.

Not got anything on my steering column so looks like that won't work then lol.

Well I was let down with my stereo off a eBay seller so looking again. Watching a few more and seen the same one but it's the one that holds 6cds integrated in it and it's a dab. Do I need anything if win it in regards to the dab.
