Streetka - New Ngk Plugs - Then Check Engine Light On -

Featured Replies

Gave the 55 Streetka a new set of the correct NGK plugs, on restarting check engine light comes on. This was the day before the MOT, which it passed with no probs. The tester said he`d seen that before, and it led to a new pre-cat lambda sensor being required- would welcome any ideas including a fault code for that problem if you know it.

Many thanks, Julian

dont know the fault code but it's an easy fix. open bonnet and its right infront you in the middle of the heat plate. looks like a spark plug with a wire cumming off it.

you will need a open sided plug socket to remove & refit it. piccy of what it looks like the engine maybe doffrent but prat the same as i think yours will be at the front of the engine from memory.perhaps get the part and ask the local garage to fit it for you ?
