random99
Hi All I have a small rectangular vent in the centre console of my mk6 facelift. It's to the left of the Hazard Lights button. It looks like a coin holder, but when I unclip it, there's two wires coming from behind it.. What is it?

Aparrently it's a coin holder (£1 coins) and doubles up as blanking plate for the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) button which was an optional etc Cheers Pete

Air Hostess
also If you open the glove box, there are 2 slots either side which hold 50p cions aswell and the back of the glove box is a clip for a pen and slot for cards? (credit card size) perhaps AA card or radio code card etc Kristal

DONFRAMAC
The wires behind the coin holder on the dash, are for an illuminated sign, to indicate that you have operated the optional keyswitch in the glove compartment, which disables the air-bag on the passenger's side, as you would, if you fitted a baby-chair there. You can have your dealer fit this option at any time, at a cost.
