Hi All,

Wonder if somebody can help with a couple of problems.

If somebody touches the external door handles when the doors are locked the locks itself up solid and I have to get in through the boot. I can't see anything wrong with the mechanism but then I wouldn't know what to look for anyway.

When I got the car the heater didn't work on it, I put up with it for a couple of years and decided to change the valve and now I've got hot air all year round and it won't blow cold air. Is this likely to be a dodgy valve or electrics this time? The valve was new when I put it on.

I have the usual problem of the car cutting out at junctions and roundabouts. I've tried cleaning the IACV but I'm not really sure if I cleaned the right bit. I've cleaned the bit that houses the solenoid but there is a plastic 'thingy' that the bolts go through to bolt onto the cover, should I have cleaned that 'thingy' rather than the solenoid housing?

It's a P reg Fiesta 1.3 with the Endura engine. Any help would be appreciated.
