Gearbox Oil Change 02 Zetec

I've got an 02 plate Fiesta 1.25 Zetec,the gearchange has become very tricky esp in 3rd and 4th and I thought changing the gearbox oil would help but can't find the drain plug,on checking the gear oil it looks very thin.Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    Just had a quick look on other ford forums and it appears from some of the posts " some " models seem to have a drain plug on them at the end furthest from the engine and uses a large allen key to unlock it.

    When you checked the oil did you spot if it seemed to "glisten" slightly as some other Fiesta owners seem to mention seeing metal filings in their oil in which case i`d certainly be attempting to change and refill the gearbox before any major damage was done by the filings.
