Ford Focus Mk2.5 Boot Badge

Featured Replies

So I went and bought a boot badge just in case I mangled my existing one doing the car badge light.

Turns out I bought the mk2 badge with 3 pins on the back. Does anyone know which boot badge fits the mk2.5?

The mk2.5 badge is just a shell with sticky foam inside,

The boot handle on the mk2.5 is bubbled out to hold the tin badge shape,

If the one you bought has a flush back surface then its better for fitting to the badge light because the proper mk2.5 one is just a blistered shell and would require filling to create a smooth bondable surface to the light section

Yeah cut off the locating pins and it sat ok on the LED badge light.

My badge is obviously a MK2 one (on a MK2 car what else ;))

It sits on the light just fine.

Just snap off the pins or cut with a dremel.

Yes learnt the hard way, misread Pree's guide, didn't cut the plastic on the light, but rather the bodywork panel that you detach.
