Music Playing From Usb

Featured Replies

Looking for the best way to play my music from my phone via USB but it takes an absolute age to index my phone and don't find the music I have.

Is it because its looking in a specifc area?

I have a Samsung S4 and use the Google Play Access All Areas for £9.99 a month - I have downloaded the songs to my local phone on external storage.

How are the songs stored - what does the storage look like when you connect your phone to a PC? I doubt that Google stores the files as MP3s without any form of license management.

They definitely are not stored via MP3 I know that much, so I don't think the system will ever pick it up.

I guess ill have to get a brodit and bluetooth my way through !

to be honest, thats probably the best bet, leave the phone as the media manager!
