Or an easier way to get to the "M" number on the back without removing the entire fascia ?

    Press and hold button 6 then press and release button 2 to get your radio serial number.

    Take the number to Ford or search a well known auction site for code services.

    I have the ability to generate M codes myself but Forum rules expressly forbid sharing them.

    Nothing wrong with pointing you in the right direction though.
