Rear Seat Multimedia Dvd System

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Im just about to return to a mondeo through my company car scheme (2014 titanium X BM)

One of the options I can have (for a slight increase) is the rear seat multimedia DVD system. I have always had aftermarket kits installed to keep the kids quiet so have to decide to do the cheaper opotion or do the stadnard ford option.

Is it a good kit, can you play/control DVDs from the drivers seat through the dash (rather than having to let them fiddle with the remotes, is the USB input good. does each one have a DVD insert option or just one?

Basically is it worth the extra money?

Dave

It's a stand-alone system (not connected to the front ICE) with one DVD player.

as Thomas said, to be honest you wont get a lot more functionality than you would from an aftermarket set.

You could get more for your money with an aftermarket, although its not embedded in the headrests, its better for removal and use as necessary.
