What Oil To Use

Featured Replies

I have a fiesta 1.25 2011 plate and was just wondering what oil to use in it and what grade. Do I use fully synthetic or semi synthetic.

5w30 Fully synthetic oil with the following specifications:

ACEA A1

Hi thanks for that. What is the best brand to go for like Castrol or something like that

Castrol Magnatec is currently on sale on Eurocarparts - 20 GBP for a bottle of 4 litres.

An advice: Although Ford has stated the oil change interval as 20.000 km don't do it. Change your oil at max. 15.000 km, especially if you drive mostly in the city.

P.S. My go to oil brands are: Castrol, Fuchs, Mobil, Millers, Yacco, Motul.

I bought Castrol Magnatec 5w 30 from Asda for £12, reduced from £20.

Mobil is also a very good brand. So you can choose between Castrol and Mobil for your car.
