Hi, just got a focus st2 2008 the other week and the sat nav not working, got new dvd and its working now but it has foreign map and language how do you change it to british cheers

When switching sat nav on it goes to boschwerk(germany) and says no GPS, does anyone know anything about this before i have to take to ford garage

is the stereo stations volume etc in English?

Yeh they are mate, i can put my address into it with the home button but after a wee while it shows in germany again

do you have the sd card with the maps on? the only thing i can think of is the language setting on the nav (have you tried this?).... does it come up with English on your dash cluster also?

It has a dvd for it, yeh everything in english, dont use the sat nav much but it said built in sat nav and ment to work and is doing my head in lol

Is it the Ford Blaupunkt system or an aftermarket job from China with DVD etc? If its the Ford one is it Touch Screen or not? I have a PDF file for the Ford versions which I can email you if you PM me your email address.

It is the Touchscreen version of the Blaupunkt then. A PDF file is a document that can be opened in Adobe. A lot of instructions and books etc are made in pdf files to stop people making changes without copywrite..

So sat in ford for4 hours to find out aerial unit not working, for the garage that i bought car from to say the man who can authorised for ford to fix it is on holiday and not back till monday, was going mad and still dont know if they are going to pay to get fixed

So coming up to a week after ford checked the car and the aerial unit not working still waiting on sales manager from garage i got car from getting back to me as to wether they will pay to get it fixed, hopefully he will let me know tomorrow( not holding my breath) lol, got new footwell lights today which are cool

Foot well lights look cool. I would think they have got to fix the satnav or replace it as they are liable under the sale of goods act. They cant sell you faulty goods and expect not to put things right.

U would think so mate, its just getting annoying now every time i phone its someone else dealing with it and they will phone me back but they dont so ive got to phone next day
