V6 lover , gorgeous motor my last Mondeo was a 54 reg 2.5 Ghia X auto identical! Great memories!, where the pics took !!, Granada especially mk2 Ghia auto ( like Cowley's from the professionals ) my favorite Ford ever.

:) Hi fellas, cant tell you a lot a bout the lovely granada.I asked a guy about the owner and he said he was gone for tea,so that was that. The event was at the home and motor show and it took pace in the north west of Ireland at the I.t Sligo.

btw there will be more shows so if i come across it again il let you know the info.

model in the ford line up,i learnt in a 69 cortina 1300 De Luxe,my dads and been hooked on them,the big 4door feels safe,and handles just as good as a focus!!

To V6Lover, I think you might own one of the rarest Mondeo's ever made ? , I love a ST220 but it's the £490 ayear tax that's stops me

Aha the dreaded tax,ive just paid for 12months tax and it set me back £285,now with all the 3.0v sixers any that are registered new after the 20 of march 2006 pay almost 500 a year im luckier being regged in october 2005 so i pay the lower rate,so there you have it people running a mondeo 'family hatchback' albiet a quick car, are paying as much as mr moneybags in his bentley or humvee chelsea tractor etc etc,:lol:

Hi admiral,ahhh yes my mondy used to be my 'second'car as i had a running project for my daily driver a v6 mk2,but rust had set in were it was rearended by the last owner who never had the gumption to make "good propper" repair,anyhow if you are thinking of getting a st220,be carefull in your choice,alot will have been ragged and abused,i settled on a 4 yr old V6 ghia x just 38k ffsh and privately owned as all the st 220s at that time were 2to3 grand more with twice the mileage and no were near as good a condition(dont buy an ex fleet whatever you do) performance wise the ghia x and titanium x v6 are .4 or half a sec slower on the 0-60 at 7.9 conpared to 7.5 and a 1 mph difference on its top end,

My last Mondeo was a mk3 2.5V6 Ghia X auto in black like yours loverly and smooth, miss the auto box to be honest and definitely be going back to one next, Thanks for the head's up
