Mk4 Mondeo Dvd Screen Inputs Or Outputs?

Gents,

Can anyone advise if the sockets on the rear seat dvd screens are inputs, outputs or both?

All I want to do is plug a phono/RCA to 3.5mm jack cable in so I can play the sound from the DVD player through the car stereo system rather than my 2 year old using the IR headphones.

And help or assistance would be much appreciated.
