i used foliatec brush on stuff before didnt need any primer,

I think it just sprays on mate, read the tin it should say for best results: . ....

I recommend purchasing a can of brake cleaner and givin) the rocker a good clean with that before dryin) and spraying,

Thats a good point, thanks.

Also, have u sprayed/painted the header tank at all? Just thinkin if its a better (cheaper) alternative to a cover or new shiney aluminium one.

no i didnt try painting it, i had planned to go for a shiney one,

But no harm to try painting it first, if it doesnt stay then go for a shiney one,

My fear was the header tank expands alot more and contracts alot more than the rocker cover, so theres more chance of the paint cracking th3n flaking with the more suddent mivements of the header tank,

looks sweet mate,

Do you notice much/any difference over stock on the sparco strut bar?

Colour coding tidys up underbonnet nicely.

Very little difference, only notice on the odd very tight corner but not enough for u to think it keeps the car on the road by itself.

Thanks, it does look alot better already, just a few touches here n there before i call it done lol.

still it looks better than the standard strut bar brackets, id fit one aswell if i had the spare cash.

Cant argue with it lookin better, a little bit of a pig to get in aswell (had to cut the battery box lid) but totally worth it. It was £112 from larkspeed i think, may have been cheaper but it was a while back and cant quite remember!
