Iv been looking around for new running gear on a mk4 1.4 ( 2.0 Zetec conversion)

Iv noticed alot of company's use same part numbers for RS/XR3i and base models ect. (shocks/springs ect)

after 25 ish years. most running parts have been changed/ worn. So is there actual a difference between the 2 cars ?
