Hello all, I need some help!

In 1990, my mum bought this Ford escort Popular from the local Ford dealership. It served the family here in Watnall Nottingham for 10 years, until It was traded in at Matlock Ford in 2000 for the Latest Escort on offer, the MK6. The car is rather special to me, as it would have been the first car I ever rode In as a child. I've looked the reg up on the D.V.L.A and apparently It was last taxed in 2003. OK, so It's most likely part of a Perodua Myvi by now, by surely there's a chance It's out there laid up?

Long shot, but If anyone recognises the car from round their area, please let me know!
