Escort diesel van......will an older engine fit ?

Hi everyone, Does anyone know if a diesel engine from an "M" reg car will fit into my 2002 escort van ?

Well i know it will fit but not sure how much is different.....apart from the fact that the engine in my van is an endura de (the "M" reg one isnt) and my van has power steering, which i thought would just be a case of taking the brackets, pump & belt from mine and putting it on the other engine.

    It will fit.

    You may have to change/alter the loom too. If you have the donor car it will be a lot easier.
