Ford Ka Radio Code

Featured Replies

Hi all, my ka recently had its battery disconnected during some remedial works and I now need a radio code to restart it. I've checked all paperwork that came with the car but nothing. I've also tried removing the stereo unit to see if anything is marked on the unit but can't get it to budge . The ka is a 51 plate. Can anyone suggest where I can go from here?

Start off by trying to press 1 and 6 together on the headunit, that should hopefully show you your serial number. You then need to go to ebay and find a serial code (average of £3) for either an M or V serial code (first character of what would be displayed). Then you just give them the details and they can supply you a code. Alternatively, you can try con your local dealer, tell them you bought the car from them a good few years ago, got no code and ask if they can provide you one.
