Is it normal process to cut tho whole panel out and replace it. or just overlap the panel and use seam sealer to not allow water.

Cause if i cut the whole panel out. i can image it will be hard to seam weld it to a water tight level.

Yea I cut out whole panel but left the strut uncut and shaved the tray plate down.

Did yours leak in water ? Does it perish under the tray because my tray looks solid ..water chasing is awfull man !!

If top of tray looks good u maybe lucky. Mine was abit iffy so I cut it out reguardless. I do regret it because it's caused me a lot of work. Under fusebox is also place to look for bad rust.

Yeah i will check that one ..i did my sills both sides cut all out patched inners up too to give outers a good surface to weld too...what a job

Smooth Bodyfiller and primer will make most welding jobs waterproof so be fine

Yeah but eventually you will be able to drive it through customs without setting off the buzzers lol
