Mk2 Focus Rear Bushes

Featured Replies

Has anybody had the rear bushes done on an 1800 diesel mk2 focus? In the past Ive had this done on astras for £8 per bush and approx £20 to fit. But Ive been quoted £54 for two rear bushes and £60 to fit them which i think seems expensive.

No thats no ford, just a one man band mechanic who i use, normally really cheap, thats why im querying the price, seems excessive.

As I recall they are quite a pig to replace, so even at that price its not bad, but I would call around a few others, get their quotes. If you like this guy, you could tell him so and so would do it for £x cheaper and see if he's willing to drop the price?
