Hey guys,

I recently took out some copper coins from my 6000cd thanks to a nephew, I need to change the fuse for the radio and also the cigarette lighter due to blowing that a while ago, can anyone point me in the right direction of the fuses please.

Hi Dan,

More often than not there is a fuse on the back of the radio unit itself. if not, then your looking at the fuses under the glovebox on the GEM board.

Have a look at Stoney's profile, or any of his recent posts. his signature links to the fuseboard arrangements and shows where the fuses are.

No problem, did you manage to get the stereo working again?

Had a guy at halfords test the fuses after I replaced them, they are fine but the stereo is knackered, I will check the local breakers yards for another.

you should be able to pick one up cheap, even off ebay you can get one for as little as £20 on the right day.
