My Phone Wont Charge In Car

Featured Replies

My phone wont charge but the the socket seems to work as the adapter lights up anyone know why?

Hi Zoe, probably an issue with the socket rather than anything else!

  • 2 weeks later...

I'd go with your cable being at fault depending on your phone some cables can't carry the required juice

I bought a bigger adaptor it works now!:)

  • 8 months later...

The charger works when the engine is running and it appears to keep charging the phone for a while after the engine is shut off. There seems to be a timed auto shut-off to the charger when the engine is not running. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

That's more the 12v It's disabled until the engines on
